FAQ

- Paint Protection Film

WinCrest EVO: approximately 200 microns (≈ 8 mil)

Buses, trucks, and construction equipment are frequently exposed to high-risk environments involving gravel, sand, and severe weather. ULTRAFIT films absorb impacts, reducing windshield replacement frequency and minimizing vehicle downtime.

Self-installation is not recommended. ULTRAFIT films require precise alignment, tension control, and adhesive handling.

Non-professional installation may result in:

– Distorted visibility or bubbling

– Poor adhesion and edge lifting

– Warranty invalidation

➡️Always have the film installed by an authorized ULTRAFIT dealer.

No. The protection film is a consumable product that protects the glass for a certain period and requires periodic replacement.

Its lifespan may be extended depending on driving conditions, climate, and wiper usage.

➡️Refer to the ULTRAFITCare Instructions for detailed guidance.

No. It does not. ULTRAFIT Windshield Protection films are optically designed to avoid interference with ADAS systems, including HUD, cameras, and sensors. Functions such as lane-keeping assist and collision warning continue to operate normally after installation.

The wipers themselves do not cause scratches.

However, debris such as sand or gravel caught under the wiper blades can damage the film surface.

Recommendations:

– Clean wipers and windshield regularly

– Replace worn wiper blades immediately

– Operate the wipers only after the windshield has been washed and no residue remains
